Time is Life

Our 41 days Hajj journey ended so fast. Then, lo and behold it is already March 2006!! Its time to really account for the value of our time:

  • To realize value of ONE YEAR - ask a student who failed a grade;
  • To realize value of ONE MONTH - ask a mother who gave birth to a pre-mature baby;
  • To realize value of ONE WEEK - ask an editor of a weekly newspaper;
  • To realize value of ONE DAY - ask a daily wage laborer who has kids to feed;
  • To realize value of ONE HOUR - ask lovers who are waiting to meet;
  • To realize value of ONE MINUTE - ask a person who missed the train;
  • To realize value of ONE SECOND - ask a person who avoided an accident;
  • To realize value of ONE MILLI-SECOND - ask athlete who won a silver medal.
Until you value yourself, you will not value your time.
Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.

Lessons - Sometimes we are too busy mopping the floor to turn off the faucet. Focus on priority tasks.... do not get swayed by complacency, vanity or vainglory.
